It hasn't happened to me, but Walmart employees don't have a clue.gatsbythepigwhich is why they'll believe anything when u return your 360... :)
you went ro walmart. they dont pay alot, you asked a near minimum wage employee. he dosn't get paid enough to know or care. you got what you paid for. why ask if you already knew, and what made you think there is a difference between a 1080i and a 1080p cabel?
and isn't it an irrelivant question to begin with? if you can afford a 1080p tv you probably dont shop at walmart. does it really matter if a $30 cable works on a $5000 tv that you dont have? all you need is a cable that will work on the tv you have.
[QUOTE="wwe_ownage"]a[QUOTE="Elementguy13"]The people who work in electronics at my walmart are retards, literally. One chews on their shirt mumbling and the other one laughs when nobody is talking to her, I get an exorsist esq feelfrom walmart... oo I got goose bumps now. lolwiiforever25
lol, mine are all lazy bums.. just stand their all silent and dont ask you, "may i help you"
you know why they dont say it to everyone, its because customers are axxholes who turn into 8 year olds when walmart doesnt have something they want, like its the employees fault when they run out of something.
That is so true but I don't think it's just Walmart, most places have the same customers. I love the look on some peoples faces when we don't have something. Like I had this family come up to me and ask me a question that I answer about a 10 times a day and when I told them we don't sell that specific item they gave me this look like the end of the world was coming. OMG walmart doesn't carry this one thing, it must be the Apocalypse!!!
I have not worked in a Walmart myself, but I worked in a store very similar to Walmart for awhile and everything that is being said in this thread is true.
They are not paid enough to know or care. The reason that the cashiers do not talk to people is because most of the customers have a "witty" comebeck to whatever you say. This is all true. When I worked there, I thought of nothing else other than "man I can't wait to get home" and "sometimes sucide might not be bad..."
But really, don't hate on the Walmart employeees, no one wants to be there. I am sure that you do not even want to be at Walmart,
lol thats because prices online are generally cheaper than in the store because the website is competeing with online prices not local prices for your area

HAHA rules you must read! The consquences will NEVER be the same!
I went to walmart recently in search of a HD cable.(mine got broke). I picked one up and looked at it but it didnt show if it went up to 1080p or anything. I asked the employee if he knew anything about it. He said I imagine 1080i thats how HD the 360 is. I said I thought it went up to 1080p and he said well let me look it up. I knew the correct answer but I didnt want to sound like a smart*** so I let him look it up. To my amazement he said yep 1080i. Well I was so stunned I didnt say anything. I still bought itand it still was 1080p. Anybody else have this happen to them.ndrewnSo, your writing a post to tell us how you were smarter than a wal-mart employee? congratulations I guess.........Oh, I lol'd at (mine got broke).
Their wal mart employees. Of course they won't be experts. Most of them in the electronics in my walmarts are older people anyway who have proved they can consistently update a Visual Presentation Set Up (the marketing matierals) even if they aren't particularly keen on what they are selling.
I say throw them a bone, the difference of one letter isn't something I'd notice or point out to anyone else.
I'm sure 30 seconds later they said 1080p to another customer. I'm sure the p and i are irrelevant to them, and that they mean their best.
