I've gotten kind of bored of MW2 and was wondering if BFBC2 is good enough where i could go trade in MW2 and pick it up. I want an honest opinion from both sides and not someone who just rags on MW2.

Good enough, and better. I guess you didn't try the multiplayer demo when it was out? You should have, it would have given you a good idea of what it was about. It is very different to MW2.

well it really depends id say you probably should hold on to MW2 because if you like it and are just bored with it,you will probably want to play it again later. So if thats the only way you can get BFBC2 i wouldn't do it personally. They are 2 different games imo and one wont replace the other.

also now that i think it about it, this probably belongs in the game recommendation thread so yeah.

BFBC2 - slower pace, more skilled shooting (no aim assist, bullet drop) heavy on team play, great sound, fun open maps, great destruction(frosbite 2.0), BALANCED(no killstreaks) - well thought out classes, vehicles aren't overpowered.

Could someone tell me the game modes in BFBC2?

Multiplayer game types.

RushPlayers - must defend or destroy pairs of M-COM stations for as long as the attacking teams respawn tickets hold out. An M-COM station can be destroyed by planting a charge, using conventional weapons or when a building is collapsed down on it.

Conquest - Players must capture and hold flags for as long as the enemy respawn tickets hold out. Every kill makes the enemy lose one ticket, and enemy tickets constantly decrease when a team controls more than half of the flags on the map. Vehicles unlock as control points are held.

Squad Deathmatch - Four squads and one Infantry Fighting Vehicle roam the map. First squad to score fifty kills get the win.

Squad Rush - Squad Rush puts a squad of four players versus another squad of four players for a max of eight player matches of Rush.

game mode are: squad death match, rush, and 2 other game mode which no one plays. Ok I personally think Rush is the best because it requires team work and you get way more excited then MW2. I'm not a MW2 hater because i love MW2 and i will not trade it in for any game yet. I think both games are great and I own both. Back to BC2 ok Squad Deathmatch is just like team deathmatch but is a Squad. You can have 4 or 5 squad all killing each other is not like MW2 where there is only 2 teams. Those are the game mode most people and I play. I havent try the other ones because i heard it wasnt good. Ive had BC2 for like 2 days and im loving it, you have to have both MW2 and BC2 there is no best because is 2 complete different First Person Shooter.

I would say that both games are better than eachother in their own ways. For example, Bad company 2's multiplayer feels like a real battlefield however MW2 seems unrealistic and forced. I believe that BC2 is definately worth a try, however dont get rid of MW2. You never know whether you would want to play it again.

get both imo.

mw2 is till very cool and battlefield is very pretty and more of a real battle experience. however both games come in handy on a raint saturady.
