I got my 360 back from microsoft and i get 3 red lights after ONE week!!!!!!!! Any suggestions on what I can do to prevent this?

call MS back, ask them to send you a new console instead of repairing it, and ask for a game alongside it (this is realistic by the way)

Do this.  Remove hard drive.  Take all cords out from the back of the Xbox, reconnect everything back in, but keep the hard drive removed.  Boot it up.

Make sure it's out in an open area. It might have overheated.
