This Kinect video convinced me

to not buy it or even try it out at a friend's house. Watch this.

It's obvious that the majority of us are not the target audience, so who exactly is? Looks like they're aiming to get all those casuals with a dusty Wii in their home to run out and buy the $300 4gb Kinect bundle for their little Billy or Suzy to try out.

Am I the only person who thinks that the voice commands are the only redeeming quality of Kinect? No wonder there is no hype at all for the launch of this thing. The games are awful and it's looking to be a lot like this. Oh, the wonders of full body motion controls!

Then again, this could save it...

I'm sold on it. I think they have something for everyone and at the $150 price point, it's pretty amazing. I don't think it will deliver on all it promises at launch, but I think it will open the doors to a cool new experience.

So you aren't even going to try it out? Well good luck on that what a stupid thing to do. It would take a few minutes to try it out but I guess your time is just that valuable. :roll:
