I was just thinking to myself the other day... Are video game designers held to a higher standard these days in order to be considered successful in the amount of sales? Do people now BUY or RENT? Is there no long a large fan base for non-series games? Personally I am a buyer; I own 400+ DVDs, 30+ Blu-Rays, 50+ TV Seasons, and multiple Games for each of my systems. But lately I won't buy a game as fast as I would before. In some instances (series) I buy the game at midnight, like both Gears, every Halo, I will do the same for COD4:2, but I rented Resident Evil 5 before purchase, Halo Wars... which because of that, I decided not to buy it. and so I was wondering what everyone else thought.

Whyd you make three different topics on this?

Anyways, I buy ALOT of my games but lately Ive made a new policy for myself which is, if the game is under 12 hours long RENT IT!
