assault rifles, submachine guns, and pistols can all use silencers

there's one sniper rifle that can as well.

You can choose to put the silencer on/off on all these guns (except the sniper rifle) during the game, whenever you want.

Every gun except DEagle, Raging Bull, M40, Scout Tatical, Arctic Warfare, PSG1 and SV98 can use silencer.

Personally, I use a G3KA4 with a 6x scope and a silencer and it works well for me.
