Too Human REVIEWED - What a surprise!

I feel bad bashing the game, but I can't help but feel betrayed. I was promised an epic dungeon crawler with a great story and innovative combat, but I just don't feel that it lives up to the promises. I guess it's what people who believed Peter Molyneux felt when they played Fable.karriston

Fable was actually a pretty good game, and since you have a character from The world ends with you in your sign, i suppose you have a terrible taste in RPGs.

The way I see it is different, but we are both right. I look at it as the ultimate irony. He's pwning fanboys, yet he is one himself, because he has to jump on the hate bandwagon for games.

We haven't even played this crap yet, how can you hold such a grudge when you played so little. If people will throw their opinion around on 3% of the game, knowing nothing about the rest...it just goes to show how much their opinion is worth.

I'm just a gamer...I don't join hate clubs for games. I just play it when it comes out, if it sucks I put it aside. If I like it, all the better.

Im still getting the game. No d-bag reviewer can tell me the game I enjoyed is really bad and change my mind.

Most of the people probably hating Too Human just love all the new features in Madden I bet. lol whatever

I love how its the same 3 people defending this game in every forum where someone says they dislike it. Too Humans major fan base is astonishing :P. Either way I dont care what anyones review is. Mass Effect will tide me over till TOV and IU and then those will keep me going till Fable 2. ceells87

Aww man advent rising was so sad, kick ass story but aweful gameplay, and because it sucked they cut it's sequels.

It's not that people aren't allowed to have opinions...but predicting flops is so fanboyish it's sad. Nobody has even played the whole game...nor have we seen what a worthwhile reviewer has to say about it.

If you can judge a game based on 3-5% of it, you aren't very open minded...and the opinion you throw around with it isn't worth much.

And Game Informer? Come on...what's next, going to use G4 scores to support your cause?

Anyone who calls someone who likes a certain videogame a fanboy is an idiot. Fanboys are illogical morons that are loyal to one brand for absolutly no reason since anyone could like all brands and be happy. This is why there can be fanboys of consoles, but when it comes to a videogame you either like it or not.

On topic, it seems the only reason people dont like this game is because their too close-minded to get used to a different control scheme. You guys need to give games more of a chance, you latch onto one thing you dont like and decide to hate a game with every ounce of your being. What a petty and sad existance.

Wanting a game to fail has taken gaming to a whole new low... I don't get it, too spoiled? maybe I could understand the ps3 fanboy angle or if someone from silicon screwed your girlfriend, or slapped your sister around, but seriously what the hell is wrong with some people.

Reviews are from a particular perspective and if people take them as the end all then something's wrong and you could be missing out... I don't agree with alot of reviews and bias is all over the place.

Example.. I can't really get into gta 4, just not my thing I guess yet it got great reviews. I think Uncharted on ps3 is fantastic and I've played it through twice and some of it's reviews weren't so hot.

If I only bought and played games based on what other people thought... well just look at that sentence and think about it and come to your own conclusion.

Not that I think you're wrong with what you said, but if I "jump on the hate bandwagon" because I played the demo and I thought it was very mediocre and a poor showing considering the dev team behind it and the amount of time they've had to complete/polish it, how is that any different then coming in here and saying that I love the game?

That we all have bad taste in games and that we don't know what were talking about? (Well some of us have bad taste in games and don't know what they're talking about, but not all of us! :?) Nonono...I never said I loved it. I'm a pretty open minded person, the demo did enough for me to give the game a chance. I wont throw around an opinion until I've actually played the game.

Because right now, none of us can fairly say if the entire game is good or not. I don't mind opinions, but if you're going to generalize the whole game (Not you personally) by the 3-5% that you played, that's not a fair opinion by my standards.

My point is...you played enough of the game, so you can fairly say "it wasn't for me" and that IS fine. But for people to come in saying it's a flop and it sucks blah blah...that means nothing. At least you have a well thought out opinion on it unlike some others. And more importantly, you're worried about the GAME not the HYPE. People get too caught up in everyone elses opinions around here sometimes.

You are taking a score from the place that gave Kameo and Lair nearly the same score. So how about you wait for reviews from places such as Gametrailers, IGN, 1up and of course here. But I guess you're too much of a noob to enjoy this game anyways. Maybe if they added chainsaws...

And have you seen the amount of preorderes this game has? It will be just fine without you and Gameinformers opinion.

yea i agree. GI gave assassinscreed a 9.5 and crisis core a 7.25. ign, 1up, and gametrailers is where the good reviews are at.

Game Informer scores can be a hit or a miss. i kind of lost faith in them after they gave Bioshock a 10.bulletsword

that wasnt far off from the avg score though. bfbc, lair, assassins, crisis core, kameo... theyve had alot more misses.

lol i didnt say i was a too human hater. Infact im a too human nothing. Im not getting the game but i dont hate it. Its all you too human "i love it before i've played it" that are getting just as annoying. its kinda like when Halo 3 came out. there were the lovers and haters who just all wouldnt shut up about it. But in time it'll pass and too human will be just another game and not the game to end all game (good or bad)

I don't take these reviews very serious anyway. I've seen such a wide variety for this game that the average even with this low score is about an 8. I also don't really give a damn what reviews say because a lot of my favorite games have gotten 7's.

Wait until the game comes out and there have been a good number of reviews and then you can bash the game all you want.

You can quote me that in the next few weeks there will be less than stellar reviews for this game besides GI. I posted this as a glimpse as to what may lie for the game in the future - thats all we have is reviews/previews/others opinions when it comes to making purchases.

I for one don't rush out and buy any game, I for one internally hyped Too Human thinking I might have a next-gen Diablo on my X360 - I for one knew that the game was going to do pretty bad after the demo.

I don't understand how some of you can tell others not to give their opinion, that they don't know what they are talking about, that GI is foolish, etc.

Unless you're all communists I think we all have a right to our own opinion, and I use these forums to get a general feel of a game before dishing out sixty bucks.
