yeah i said that to my girlfriend a while ago(kidding around, of course) and induced a 4 hour fight with her. I sometimes forget that women take everything that you say seriously.

I'm a bloke andI'min a 360 clan with a few Girl Members and to be honest it annoys me a lot. As soon as people hear a girls voice it starts with a bombardment towards the female gamers. It needs to be stopped in my opinion certainly the view that girl gamers are the easy kill. The female gamers in the clan I'm in are certainly capable of killing males and insome cases are even better then males.

It needs to be sorted out. Luckily for the females in the clan I'm in they can give it out worse than they recieve. But it must dishearten some female gamers and make them leave the game and look for a new room. When in most cases they can give anyone in the room a run for their money.

I got a story,I was playing GeoW and there was a girl (ZOMFG!!11) in the room, She was on the other team, and i was on the same team as this wannabe gangsta. And every time he downed her, he'd do the stupid rape thing, where you get the smoke grenade out and start swinging it around. I got her down once and curb stomped her then the guy said "yo man why didn't you rape her". He'd say stuff like "you like gettin raped last round" and stuff like that that i'm not going to repeat.

Yeah Xbox Live is full of this type of behavior. People like to hate anything that is different from what they are.

I think one of the reasons that this is so prevalent on Xbox Live is because of how easy it is to setup and get online instantly. The system pretty much does all of the configuring automatically, so there is absolutely no knowledge required at all to setup your Xbox Live connection. Most of the people I talk to on Xbox Live actually say that they can't be on AIM and Xbox Live at the same time because they plug their "modem cable"(lol) into the 360 and there is no way to hookup both at once (I guess these people are not familiar with the concept of a router?)

Basically what I am trying to say, most people on Xbox Live are stupid because you can be a complete moron and get on Xbox Live, whereas other places you would need to configure stuff.

I don't think it's a matter of Americans being ignorant on Live so much as people in general. I've played with at least as many ignorant, **** Brits or Scots, a midnight gander with some **** Aussies, and even some jerkass Frenchies (thought I usually just avoid those servers). There are ignorant people everywhere, and just because you've experienced some personal harassment from one nationality or sex doesn't mean jack **** I don't know what nationality you are, but I'm sure I could come up with some kind of story from my gaming experience where your nationality blasted me for what I am.

You are quite right in the respect that disrespect is a part of life and that you need to either suck it up or blow your brains out, but you can't blame one group for ignorance in online gaming.

I'm an American and it does seem sometimes that there are more American jackasses than jackasses from other nationalities. However, something to consider is that America is by far the largest gaming market. It's nearly 4 times the size of Europe and Europe is twice that of Japan. Therefore, there just are way more Americans on LIVE than anyone else. Every country has jackasses, but if you have more people from one country on LIVE, it just follows that you'll have more jackasses from that country as well. Percentage-wise, America doesn't have more jackasses than other countries, though it may seem that way since there are so many Americans online.

I haven't noticed that much dissin' towards females. If there ever is a female in the room, most guys are too intimidated to say anything negative. But there are the idiots that just want attention so they'll spit out anything sexually offensive.

Most of the games that I find female gamers in are the games that tend not to have aggressive players online. It's very rare that I see on in GeOW or Saints Row. Games like that. I can see people in those games talking trash for no reason.
