1. Open Doors like The Godfather with no loading times.

2. Smarter Civilians. And animals. I like the animals idea.

3. Be able to choose sides like be a criminal or work with the cops or FBI. And which side you choose would give you a different storyline increasing replay value.

4. Cooler side missions. Maybe bounty hunter things where you have to hunt down someone (without the showing up on your map) and bring them to the cops. Or kill people for the mob like the Dark Brotherhood in Oblivion.

5. Every building that is not essential to the story should be able to be blown up. They could then just have a construction crew come and clean it up or just have it pop back up when you save. I don't care either way.

BLOW UP BUILDINGS!!!!!! MWA HAHAHAHAAA!!!! But seriously. I want to see a city that is alive. I want to blow up a house and the next day i want to see the police there or construction workers there fixing the house. Enviromental damage really helps the realism and its extremely satisfying seeing how a few well place rockets at a buildings foundation can topple it. The graphics dont have to be amazing but a Gears Of War like physics system like bodies blowing apart would be nice too. Military grade weapons, black market ones, new weapons would make the experience much more enjoyable. More realistic vehicle physics and better airplane controls would help. More strategy like empire building, extortion, stuff like that. The ability to have a crew and give them orders like a tactical shooter and stuff like that. This is the stuff I think would make GTAIV much more enjoyable.

Fully breakable character models(like hitting someone and watching their leg fly off would be awesome)

Locked 30fps, non of that Saints Row low framerate and screen tearing crap

1. Have a constant job or hustle. Lets say you sell drugs. You got go day in and day out and sell but on top of that you have story missions.

2. For the story missions something i like to call "investigation mission". Not just you ran here ran there and done. Thing of who is a police investigation goes. There's alot and time and pieces to make it fit. So apply it to the crime life. show the rise of the character and make the player feel like someone. have cops & senators on your pay roll. Make me feeling important. If its a city gang then I want to be posted on the block while one of my worked

3. Online mode. 4-6 clan matches mean in one city four or six gangs stay to take over a city and it wont happen in 2 hrs. Something you have to work at over time.

4. Good Aiming system.

5. Use a weekly schedule that pushes the game along. you got to be here on monday, there on wednesday. Have your character grow up.

 5. Make the setting San Fransisco so you can visit the gamespot offices (just joking)

1. a definitive ending.

there are way too many games out right now that have an open world envirnment and end with a question or something up for debate, make the character die.  

2. Online component has to have co-op, the dlc extra co-op.

this is a no brainer, crackdown, gears, graw2 all have excellent co-op modes, saints row had co-op too, but it was way too short.  

3. more vehicles

they have been pretty consistent about this, they have added more vehicles in everyone so i would be dam disappointed if i didnt see some type of razor footscooter or skateboard or snowmobile or hovercraft or something....i still love the jetpack....

4.   celebrity voices

saints row was pretty good for that, especially because i just watched crash after i started playing it and i was like oh s*** thats julius.

5.  a southern location

people have been saying the whole dirty south, im saying it should be georgia, a booming city, a real country side and an industrial district, sounds like a typical gta format to me, just make it so that there would be a link btwn some of the old cities too like having vercetti missions or cj missions where you go do stuff for them...

things i would like to see in the game

1. Better graphics

2. Being able to walk in and interact with every shop and building

3. more powerful weapons

4. buying and running your own business

5. modify cars, new wheels, engine, tints etc,

The ability to go inside every single building

Destructable environments

The ability to sell cars that you steal

Make it harder to actually commit crimes so it feels rewarding when you steal a car

Good AI

1. more gore, limbs flying apart, like gears of war

2. aiming system like saints row

3. better control system, the controls in last game were bad

4. more weapons, and cars

5. ability for it to be a fps or a shooter gun like gears
