My 360 has been freezing up and getting the 3 red lights constantly and i was going to take it in to gamestop to trade it in for the $250 off the elite since my warranty has expired anyways and i was wondering do they check it to see if it is working properly cus someone told me they will always just send it to microsoft and have them do maintainance to it. So I was wondering are they going to let me trade it in or not? And also is my town the only one that is sold out of the elites? Are these really in high demand?
they only check if it can read a game and stuff so if u load up a game and its fine for a little bit then u can trade it in. Thats what i did will my original xbox it had this red blinking light so i scamed them basically.
you can try to send it in and hope it works the amount of time that it takes to load the game. no harm in trying. they deserve to be ripped off anyways the way they screw people on trade in.
