Ok, so my old xbox 360 died and found out my warranty expired, so I didn't think it was worth the trouble of getting it repaired and just went an bought a new one.

Now that I've popped my old hard drive in the new xbox, whenever I boot it up I keep having to select the hard drive in order to sign in, which is annoying. How do I make it automatically signed into my profile that's on my hard drive.

Also, I've noticed when im trying to play my games that have DLC which I've already downloaded, it doesn't recognize it. It only works when im on Xbox Live.

I was wondering about this as well... I have to choose between my HD and the internal memory of my Arcade to sign in... As for your content... did you transfer your licenses? (xbox.com/drm)...

Don't bump your topics, the mods frown upon it.

You can't select to sign in a specific profile automatically? Thats odd...

As for the downloaded content, go to xbox.com and sign in. Hover you mouse pointer over the "support" button and select "license transfer" and follow the instructions. This will allow you to use your downloaded content when you are not connected to xbox live. You can only transfer license to another xbox once a year.

Recover your Gamertag to the new console even though it is on the HDD already, then do the licence transfer at xbox.com and all should be well.
