Buy when i get it do i just plug one end of it into my PC and plug my Xbox360 cables into that? (I want to record gameplay).

Yes, and the quality of what you are looking at will not be very good but it's worth it in the end.

Well i know it will not be as good as it is on the TV. But how bad is "not very good" ?

OK look at it this way standard TV resolution is 640 x 480 and when you connect 360 to this device that what you’ll be getting. If you view it in 640 x 480 "window" it will look fine but you probably want to stretch it to full screen (because you will be playing while recording) and that’s where you lose your resolution by looking at stretched image. But don’t worry its not that bad and like I said the payoff is worth it.

There is no magic in recording gameplay from 360 it’s very simple if I may say.

Let me walk you through what I do when I fell like recording something, and BTW I use internal TV tuner card that’s installed in one off my PC.

1) I have a separate 360 cable that’s always connected to the tuner card and every time I want to record I simply move my 360 next to my PC and plug it in.

2) On the PC I start the application that allows me to watch and record any A/V source hooked up to the Tuner Card (every tuner device internal or external should come with such application)

3) Start up 360 and insert the desired Game I whish to record.

4) When the match starts I use on screen "REC" button or the one on the remote (my tuner card came with one) I set my recording quality to the BEST my tuner card has to offer.

5) Stop the recording at the end of the match (and repeat step 4 if I fell like playing and recording some more) at the high quality half-hour match can be 1Gig or more.

6) Turn off 360 and the recording application.

7) Start up Video editing application (some tuners come with one if not get one you fell you will be comfortable with) at the moment I use Ulead Video Studio 9 its quick and easy to use.

8 ) Edit the video to my liking and save to the desired format.

9) Upload the finished video to the place like "YouTube" or "Google Video" and share it with others.

10) Pat yourself on the back for a job well done. :D

I hope this helps.
