yea man I only played one match with nadal and sarena williams and she killed me in two straight games.  I thought there was too much diving in the game.  But, that could be because i didnt know what i was doing.

well. first of all the graphics were great..but i'd have to say top spin is a bit better than this. i mean.. serena can stand there and kill me while she's hitting the ball me "sharapova" diving for nothing haha while the ball we traveling like 10 mph lol. but overall a pretty challenging game i'd probly pick that up. but i stil have to practice damn computer been whoppin my ass lol.

Yeah, it's awful... the rediculous handling aside, the character models and environments are last-gen. This is Ass City, USA.

The Top Spin series is very tough to beat. Too bad there isn't a new one in the series for 360.

I love the fact that they will punish you for pressing swing to early or if you are to far away from the ball, so you will dive. you actually have to be in position unlike any other tennis game where you would just hold a and it would point you in the direction the ball will travel. So if you hold A in top spin, and the guy hits left, you wont be able to go right. This was horrible. They actually fixed the main thing wrong with tennis games. The only problem is there isnt that many hit types. I found it difficult to put a lot of backspin and do a drop shot, or a powershot. Still a good game.

The game was lame as hell with all the diving going on.  I wouldn't pay $5 for that garbage. Dont Sega play-test their games anymore?  Someone needs to tell them that real tennis games dont feature 982 diving shots.

It seems a lot of you hate the game because you aren't any good at it. It's entirely possible to play without diving once. Couple that with the fact that the demo is on the hard difficulty, it's understandable that first timers will find the game frustrating and find themselves diving all over the place. The graphics aren't bad either, the character models are on par with Table Tennis models.

The balance doesn't seem to be quite right. After a few games I was getting the hang of it so I played against Venus Williams and I won the first round with ease, I kicked her ass, the 2nd round was more equal but she managed to win and the last round she completely dominated me

I actually don't like the demo.  I prefer Top Spin over this anyday.  I just hate that no matter how well I plant my character to hit the ball, he always dives.

its been out a couple days i think. but its pretty good for a tennis game, the AI is tough. i dont have problem with diving like some people say, they just tap the button way too early i guess

Then you're obviously not placing them well. Here's a vid with no diving at all (well apart from the AI) http://www.ctennis.com/vids/vt3demo2.wmv.

yeah imstarting to get better at this demo just position yourself for the shot, and i found the easiest way to win was to go towards the front of the net and play there
