Well, I got an Xbox.

I got no games and tts still in the box in my living room. I just saw the deal on gamestop for 100 bucks, got all excited and jumped on it. So, what should I do now? I never really planed to buy an Xbox so I'm not really up on what games are out there that aren't on PS3. I know all my friends play COD but I don't know wich one.

I would get MW2 and Black ops, Black ops does suck though do to the fact that the hit detection is awfull but I am sure a new player will love it.

Other games Halo 3 is really cheap and Halo Reach is very good

I would reccomend the orange box because it has 5 games in one

First of all , you might wanna get your account upgrade to " gold " so that you can play multiplayer and watch movie on netflix ( if you live in US ) .

And might wanna try out looking at XBLA ( Arcade games at games marketplace ) . Also i would suggest don't bother getting COD as the latest is coming this november hold on your $ . Also Look at the Games recommendation Thread so that you could have side on which game to buy.

I'd say don't bother with the now terrible COD series, instead, spend your $$$ on Battlefield 3 and Skyrim later this year.

Mass effect 1 and 2, Gears 1 and 2, Halo 1-3, oh and try out left 4 dead.

It depends on what kinds of games you like. If you like shooters, I would suggest modern warfare 2 or halo reach. If you like racing games, I'd say forza 3 or dirt 2. I'd also say red dead redemption, mass effect, and grand theft auto 4.zombehhhhh

First of all, get a gold membership. It does cost money though. $10/month or $50-$60/year. I would personally say avoid the CoD franchise. Once you've played one, you've played them all. Because they're all the exact same. Activision only care about money. I would say to go after the Battlefield series; and Gears of War.orb_03_2006

Amen to that, COD's just become the same game year after year, like Guitar Hero. Activision really know how to milk great franchises.
