What 1st person shooter game should I buy?

Im just wondeering because im getting a new game soon, and I was hoping for a new FPS. What should I get? My friends say that Rainbow Six: Vegas 2 game, but im not sure... Any oter ideas? Online Gameplay Must be Fun.

I highly discourage this course of action. Get COD4 it has the good elements of mw2 and without the extra crap. It's like taking a massive turd and digging at it until you find a gold coin in the middle. The gold coin is COD4 the extra crusty turd is everything they added in mw2+the ridiculous boosting and hacking.

Rainbow Six 2 is a good game - just finished it.....but it is a more tactical game with squad based elements....

CoD4 is good but short and is more run and gun - no real cover system

Far Cry 2 is another game i like......sand box type game but can be repetitive...

Brothers in Arms: Hells Highway is a good war FPS with squad based elements....

I guess it depends what kind of FPS you are after.....
