Im not ripping on Halo 3 coming out. I mean it's great and very exciting, but this whole u have to reserve it to get it, and they arent selling in stores for a while is rediculous. I mean u guys have years, just make more of em. People have played halo 1 and 2 and its the same thing every time......it gets boring after a while and the second one had a horrible story, just great online play. I just think ppl are overreacting about this game. i just don't understand why ppl are buying a 100 dollar limited addition just to get a helmet they can't fit on their head. And they are coming out with Halo 3 controllers and 360s, I mean it is just a game. I am a halo fan, but im not gonna stress andoverexaggerate over a gamethat actually might not be that good like Halo 2s story mode and Socom 3for ps2. Now these are both great games, but ppl becametoo excited for it and they were dissapointed, becuz there expectationswere too high. Plz dont take this as ripping on halo 3 becuz im not. I just think ppl are overreacting over this game.
Personally, I think Bioshock is the best FPS single player I've played since Half Life 2.
Gears is the most overhyped game IMO. Single player was alright, looked really good too. Too short though. And the multiplayer has all the depth of Mount Everest and is about as fun as a knitting needle in the eye. Repetitive gameplay, annoying community full of glitchers.
Shadowrun was hyped? I must have been sleep while that was going on. Anyway, the success of Gears of War MP is definitely a product of the hype machine so it gets my vote.
