racing games? maybe burnout? Lego star wars is great... for any age :P guitar hero perhaps.
Theres plenty of great games for the 360 without violence, drugs or sex in em
Fifa 08
Eternal Sonata (RPG)
Lego star wars: the complete saga
Hmm..thats the only good ones i can think of!
Are you scared of blood and violence harming his fragile mind? :Pjoey101010
LMAO, NO FREAKiNG WAY!!!!
any good/easy shooting games?gameboi_92
I think Bionicle is a shooter -- saw my little brother playing on the PS2
I'd say:
(Suprised i haven't seen this yet) The Simpsons game - My lil bro who is 9 loved that, make sure you don't get it on PS2, he played it on the 360 at my Dad's and we got it for PS2 here, but apparently its just not the same....
some sort of easy driving game, like Cars
GHIII might be good realy...
i dont know how you could manage, i hate having my lil bro playing on the Xbox, but as my Mum bought it for me, i have to share, good thing i own all the games!! mwu hahaha!!
I think Burnout: Paradise and Rock Band. Replace Rock Band with Guitar Hero if you want but a kid would have more fun with Rock Band.

Viva Piñata is really fun for any age, so don't overlook it. Timeshift is a pretty good shooter.
lol, not like Viva Piniata and stupied stuf like that, stuff that a guy in grade 2 can play.gameboi_92
Buy a wii. or any sports game. lego star wars as well
My personal favorite is "open your mouth and close your eyes and I'm gonna give you a big surprise"MiNuts
Yea, just like on that old "Sea People" South Park episode where Cartman got some extra sea people by going into an alley with some guy, closing his eyes, and sucking out the sea people through a hose. haha!

Is the 8 year old kid showing interest in games? Or is it your habit that your trying to get him into? I would let the kid grow up a lil before getting him/her into the habit of becoming a couch potato. Especially if your concerned w/ the content of the games. If any thing get him/her a Wii so at least he gets some movement in his joints from swinging that controller around.
>guitar hero perhaps.marshbaboonIm not sure an 8 yr old can play GH III... Maybe just a little challenging :D plus the guitar has gotta be bigger than him
I suggest Marvel: Ultimate Alliance. no blood. comics oriented. really good game as well (surprisingly)morpheusnj

Well theres a difference between games an 8 year old would like and games you can lure an 8 year old into your basement for....

Judging from the HD review, I thought Viva Pinata was pretty neat. It's much too complicated for little kids. But it has that vibrant atmosphere that anyone can play. I thought it was rather interesting, but not for me lol. Maybe for an 8 year old, if he's into all that "taking care of pets" sort of thing. If not, then umm, maybe Blue Dragon if he's into RPGs or Eternal Sonata. Or better yet, just go to bestbuy website and search games under his age rating. Easy enough.
