What city should GTA V be based on?

I was talking to my friend on XBL the other day while he was playing GTA IV: BoGT, and the topic of GTA V came up and we wheretalking about what real city should the game's city be based on, my friend said he would want Liberty Cityagain, but I'm thinking itshould be somewhere different, and think I would base it in Las Vegas, the city is just perfect for a GTA game IMO.

So where would you base GTA V?

I'm still hoping it will be vice city but based on modern Miami.

TBoGT left a lot of hints of where the next might take place. They also hinted that London might be out of the question.

I think they should use Vancouver, BC in Canada. You've got the mountains surrounding the city, the ocean, beautiful land with tons of hills, and the city (and metro area surrounding) would work perfectly in a GTA game. And the best thing, the Americans can make fun of us Canadians with a bunch of beaver, syrup, "eh", ah-boot, etc jokes.

Paris.

London, Tokyo, Paris, Rio or Mexico City would be my choices.

Rio and Mexico could have some seriously interesting gang warfare going on!

And the barrios/favelas would rock!

Anywhere but LC! I hope it takes place in europe, London is a good choice.

London would be my nominee, though if not, maybe something at the likes of seoul or Tokyo

None, they should work on new games like La Noire and Red Dead Redemption.

I'm all for London, that would be great. There's a lot of great European cities that would be prime, as well.

They need to do what they did with San Andreas and do a 3 city thing like London - Amsterdam - Paris. How awesome would that be?

I just really hope they base it on Vice city after all you hear vice city alot in GTA 4 so thats a huge hint i heardrockstar would realease the location in march but i can't confirm this it was just a rumor
