If you mean a COD set in a futuristic battle arena - I would love it. I hate WWII games - burned out on that era to an extreme.
They could do Panama, Afghanastan, Iraq, Vietnam - all would be good but a future battle would be the best IMO regardless of what they actually call the game. :)

As much as that is a cool idea, it would be like taking one HuGe step back for the COD franchise. From calling in Radars and helicopters are you going to be calling a man on a horse? If anything they should make a new title in that sort of era. The thing that is great about Future Warfare is you don't know what it will be like, unlike the past which. You can't get to creative about, because it hasalready happened.
It's been done many times before, ie. Battlefield 2142. I can't really predict what COD6 will be like. All I know is that they're taking a huge step back on COD5 from 4.

I think it could work as long as your not talking like a couple hundred years into the future. 10 - 20 years in the future would be pretty kick ass, anything more would start getting stupid.
sounds cool..so does the ancient warfare thing although they'd have to start a new series with the ancient warfare stuff. hopefully future warfare is where CoD 6 goes
