What ever happened to Black 2?

I was just wondering. I really liked the first Black, and when I heard about a Black 2 a few months ago I was excited to hear the news! I have also heard things that it never was actually announced. So, does anyone know:question:

yeah it was a good bang for the buck, if another one is made i'd buy it...btw black is pretty good b/c game if you want to play it on ur 360?

A 5 hour Single Player Only FPS was a good bang for your buck??

How could someone not of gotten around to beating it once you started. Even if you stared at the wall like the developers hoped(easiest way to extend game length) still couldn't of been more than 10 hours...
