What FPS to get?

im getting a xbox 360 next month and i wonted to know what FPS i should get to play on XBL, i was thinking FEAR, HALO 3, GoW, TIME SHIFTor something...but some of those games don't come out until a few months later so im stuck with this question

Not FEAR. It's a really awesome game with an AI that improved upon the Half-Life AI in my opinion, but the online is nearly deserted. You might want to pick it up if you can find it cheap in addition to another game.

Also, if you mean Gears, it's not an FPS. But it is great online and still loaded with people. No chance it will get deserted any time soon either. Halo 3 is also a good choice obviously. It depends on your taste though.

Rainbow Six Vegas

Bioshock, Halo 3, Blacksite, Unreal, COD 4 all look like solid upcoming FPS'

right now, gears and vegas are your best choices. later, HALO3, COD4, UT3

theres also graw1 and 2, lostplanet, cod2 and 3, fear, shadowrun

Depends if you want to play online or not.

Offline I suspect Bioshock will be pretty cool.

Online then probably Halo 3 or Call of Duty 4.
