This happened alot with me so i'll go in order from which it happened. Halo :Combat Evolved, now th biggest halo fan, i beat this game on legendary and 7 other times. Fable, did not like it at first (first RPG) but than i kept playing and now i think it's a good game (not getting fable 2). Brothers in Arms Earned in Blood, i hated the tactical part(i did not know what it was) so i just put the game down after the 20th strait death. But know i freakin love the game and the series, and almost all other tactical shooters. Guitar Hero 2, thought it was really stupid and it was not what i expected, but after seeing my brothers play it, i gave it another go, so now i like it.

Final Fantasy 7 - I never played any RPG's until my brother told me how good this game was. I was only inf 3rd grade when I started playing it and eventually started "faking sick" so I could stay home and play it. Been an FF Fantatic ever since and went back and beat 1-5. Still have not got to 6. Was hooked on 11 for a while, but MMORPG"S ruin lives so had to quit =P

Dead or Alive - At first, I didn't think it had as much to offer as games liek Tekken...once I learned how to play more...I feel like DOA is probably one of, if not the best fighting series around. Mortal Kombat took a huge flop.

Chrono Cross - I wasn't getting into this game much at the begining, the game felt a bit bleak, but once I played it for about 4 hours I was hooked, and it is my current all time favorite game, along with Chrono trigger.

Rainbow 6 Vegas. I didn't like the demo at all and didn't plan to buy it, but my friends keep telling me to try the retail version, so I decide to pick it up and love it.

I also didn't like Two World and Crackdown but I'll give it a second chance once I have the time.

Rainbow Six Vegas. At first I was like "why do I have to press every button to do anything?" and "why does this level suck?". Although that crazy Mexican music was cool. :D

But by the time I got to the bit near the end of the first level where you only have your pistol, I was like "awesome". I actually felt the extra tension of losing all the guns and equipment and having nothing but your trusty sidearms and your instincts. Of course, I died like a million times before completing the level, but it was still sweet. :D
