what game did you decide to give a second chance on?

Far cry 2 i thought it was boring when i first played it but i gave it a second chance and i think it was awsome !

Rockstar Games' Ping Pong.

First time I played it i was doing the tutorials. i t took me SO LONG that i had to put it down and swear not to pick such an abomination up again!!!

Plus side, i did pick it up again later with my buddy and had some IN-TENTS ping-pong matches, and some laughs!!

Oblivion. It was my very first RPG I ever played. I liked it at first then it got frustrating and stopped playing. I did that over and over until I finally got tired of doing that and decided to finish it. Thanks to that game I love RPG's now

I have a terrible knack of buying games and never finishing them (or even playing them). The worst of this though was never initially finishing Mass Effect. I eventually did 5 months after I got tot he mid-way point, but I can't figure out why I stopped playing that masterpiece of a game!

I'm thinking of giving Gears of War another chance while I'm waiting for Forza 3 to come out. I wanna finish my replay of Mass Effect first, though(about 3/4 of the way through).

My second chance game was Oblivion. I played it for a couple of hours but couldn't get into it. I decided to go back a month or so later and create a new character. I ended up playing it for around 100 hours and it's now one of my favourite games of all time!

I see Mass Effect cropping up in here a bit...I guess I should pick it back up again lol. Along with Lost Planet, I thought it was crap when I first got it.

Burnout Paradise, when I first got it I didn't really care for it that much. I had it shelved for about 9 months before playing it again, and now I love it. :)

Mega Man 9, because I could never defeat Wily's last form. I played through all the stages again and forgot what fun it was. Granted, I still can't beat Wily's last form, but I'm more determined than before.
