GEoW was horrible they either "cheat" or don't shut the hell up. Those kids need to remember that it is just a game and go find a girlfriend or something...

I know what you mean, sometimes people get rude and make comments because I don't talk enough. Guess they haven't considered that maybe I don't feel like talking to some bonehead strangers I don't even know adn also it depends on my mood. Sometiems I just wanna chill and game and leave the gabbing out of it. Jees, I talk all day at work.
Yeah, Gears has been the worst. I don't bother to play it online. I've also run into trouble on Call of Duty 3, where it was just so rude I couldn't stand it. It's hard to play casually in any of these games. PGR3 seemed the best, way back when I first got my 360. Also, some of the XBL Arcade games are fine--like Uno, for instance, where most of the players seem decent (although even playing Uno you run into real jerks). I probably won't bother with Live Gold after my year expires. I've found that PC gamers tend to act more mature than console gamers, and that's what I prefer. Then again, I'm not that hardcore when it comes to online gaming. I'm sure others don't find it nearly so irritating.
Honestly any one game isnt worse than the other. You can say the same you say about Gears about Rainbow or Halo or Call of Duty etc... The community as a whole is just plain volatile. It is a mix of immaturity and lack on consequence. It is easy to insult or abuse someone when they are not right in front you you to retaliate. Most of it is teenage toughguys but not all of the problem stems from there. Anyone good at a game have the ability to feel empowered and many of those "elite" players feel the need to pass judgemnt and use super cool words like noob and pwned. The best thing is to just befriend anyone you have a good experience with. The more you do that the bigger your pool of quality players at any give time will be. When A-holes are outnumbered in your casual matches they quickly slump back into the corner to pout and usually leave the game or get kicked when they are not found amusing.

No way. I've met some pretty cool people that all happened to know each other. They're all pretty good at the game and communicating. You just aren't meeting the "right" people.
I think the GRAW series takes it. The only thing I'll hear during the game is "they got me" or "turn off your mics and ready up."

Rainbow 6: Vegas has the worst online community to me. I can't say one thing without a response like "Shut up the (F-word) up" or "You're a noob" when I first join a game. I should know that the popular games always have the worst communities.

You gotta try it more than once to make a better judgement. My first time I played online, I didn't enjoy it too much just because I didn't know my way around the maps. All you have to do is find a few people that you get along with and play well with, put them on your friends list and play online with them.
I think the only game not mentioned yet is Perfect Dark Zero.... which I can understand because that was the first game I ever played on XBL and I always thought the people were pretty cool on it.

Id have to say Halo2 and GeoW are by far the worse. lil pubescent melee mouth little spoiled brats. and cheaters.... lame. and GRAW1 and even a lil rainbow 6 are a little bad with the hosts basically just stacking the teams to unfair perportions and TKing.
I would have to say Halo 2 and Fight Night. I made a lot of friends on Gears and GRAW. I never played Saints Row or Perfect Dark Zero a lot online but the little I did play was cool. The nicest people I've played with had to be on LOTR, BFME 2.
