What game do you think will FAIL?

You asked what game will fail, for a game to fail it has to sell bad. So don't go getting your panties in a twist when people say Fable 2 will sell well.

It's not that other will like it, it's just that I hate those kinds of interfaces. I don't mind the features, I just don't like how you get to those features. I would rather have the classic dashboard with those features, instead of this simplified options menu.

I agree with all the ups you said about mass effect (charector interaction ext.). I just went into it expecting it to be as good as kotor and it wasn't. Oblivion why charector interaction was non exsistant(fallout 3 looks alot better in that department) was still huge, tons of quests and places to explore. When the onlything really worth playing in mass effect was the main quest.

BTW This does not mean I am bashing Mass effect

Fair enough. Yeah, I'm hoping Fallout 3 will improve on Oblivion's shortcomings. Although you might not guess it from my post up there, I like Oblivion. I have about 500 hours in it between PC and 360. If Fallout 3 improves on Oblivion's shortcomings, we'll have a great game.

Gears of War 2 (just my opinion since i disliked the first one's multiplayer very much)

Fallout 3 i think will please many but it is just not my taste even though i love Oblivion (250 hours on one character and still some how only level 28) i guess when it comes to rpg i want either fantasy/medieval or non-post-appocaliptic Si-Fi

Two games i am actually looking forward to but am being cautiously optimistic about are Mirror's Edge and LotR: Conquest; they are both ideas that will either turn out awesome or be horrible.

If people are to stupid to use the education we are given in this country to read about Fallout 3. Therefore only looking at the pictures and assuming it is an FPS. Then they are to freaking dumb to be playing anything more than Mickey Mouse Racing in the first place. Let alone more complex games such as Fallout 3 and Dead Space for instance.

That's one of many reasons why it could be disappointing. But, again I hope it's GOTY quality.

Fable 2- "Hey did you know you can join your friend's game by clicking on an orb, then you can kill his family." Fable has akward combat, weird animations, not great story and is not all that deep. (The first one.) I am not expecting much from this title.

Far Cry 2- Something seems off about this game, all the previews look great and it looks really good, but there is something weird about it and i can't put my finger on it.

As excited as I am for Fable 2, I'm afraid it will turn out like the first game and dissapoint fans/critics. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that it will be great, but I'm not counting on it.

Gears 2 looks amazing though. It does seem like Gears 1.5 but it should still be pretty good, and if th multiplayer is improved I'll be playing that mostly seeing as Gears 1 is still my favorite multiplayer game.

i think fable 2 will fail. i don't see how millions of 360 owners will want to buy this rpg just because its exclusive or something. i remember the first game being quite short as well, so if this one is like that then, boy, i have no interest.

fallout 3 definitely look like its walking a fine line. it seems like they felt that FPS games are just so damn popular that they had no choice but to try and fit in.

Most previews I have read make it out to be a big deal, but I see nothing in Borderlands. Gearbox is developing it and I never liked the BiA games.

As for the Fallout 3 discussions, it is a near future, post apocalyptic version of Oblivion... no questions asked. From the way you get missions, to the way you carry them out, to the way you level up, and so on. Its just an evolution of Oblivion gameplay and engine with the Fallout franchise. I think that is a good thing though. I loved Oblivion.

GoW 2 will fail in my mind. Just as the original GoW left me thoroughly unimpressed.aRE-you-AFraid

haha, I couldn't agree less. everything I complained about in the first one has been fixed.

I love and hate flame wars and discussion between gamers, among the things i hate most about it, could be stubborn people defending his point trying to prove it with his life, like he is defending something related to his family or even relevant importance.

saying that fable 2 will fail, and that his anteccesor was a huge fail is very incorrect, iIdare to say too that the guy comparing mass effect to oblivion is very dumb, no teh bad dumb, the funny dumb, oblvion is 352352153 times bigger and character development might be not as good as mass' effect is, but anyway is really funny dumb. then ill ahve to say that a i loved mass effect alotttt, ive never had such enjoyment of character personalization/creation since Wrestlemania games and tony hawk, I´ve done recreations of characters of everything... like Edward from twilight (how i would describe him), Angelina Jolie (very funny).

They did not get rid of co-op, it will be available one week after release. And it will not fail, it will sell millions. If any game is going to fail it will be Banjoe nuts and bolts, Rare took a big gamble making it vehicle based, and a lot of previews read like the game has big problems with the way these vehicles control.

It could be a massive flop.

For chrissake, Banjo Kazooie: Nuts and Bolts is not vehicle based, it is still a platformer. The reason they put vehicles in it was because the wrolds were huge. Would you play GTA 4 if the only way you could get around was on foot?

Liked them? There has only been one Fable, and there is still co-op in Fable 2...

IMO, LBP for the PS3, Gears of War 2 for the 360

People are afraid of change, thats why they think Banjo Kazooie will suck. I have no doubt that it will be very good though,
