Doritos Dash Of Destruction...there isn't really an ending to speak of...XD For that matter, the only good thing about the game was the easy achievements...

Definatly Halo 3 if you mean story ending, while the last levels driving was one of the best sequences I think in gaming the actual end to the story was pretty empty and not what I expected...

Appreciate that all of these X-Box 360 endings are actually endings instead of low budget intros in reverse.. Trust me, the endings are better than you think.

Call of Duty 2 on Veteran. I spent over 15 hours, and countless cheap deaths, and my only bonus for beating it on Veteran is another FDR quote?

Assassin's Creed. Never has setting up a sequel fail so hard.

Not sure if it qualifies or not but every single ending of every single character in Street Fighter 4 was utterly and completely ridiculous. They could have at least taken a stab at an actual story line.

What do you mean, he was going to kick ass :P But seriously a cliffhanger isn't a bad ending, its not really even an ending as the story is going to continue(except Shenmue lol). The only thing I didn't like about Fallout 3's ending was the fact that it actually ended the game and you had to start over afterwards. I would say the worst ending I've seen lately(this gen) is Splinter Cell, the ending was very ambiguous and seemed like it was made to fit whatever path you played throughout the game instead of having multiple fleshed out endings for each course of action.

The ending just leaves you stupefied. Characters you don't even care about die (it's kinda hard to care about any characters in the story). It turns out that for apparently no reason your commanding officer or what ever in an alliance with the enemy or something.
And as you said it ended in a cliff hanger so theres really no sense of closure. I can't imagine anyone really cares to find out what happens next. It's easily one of the worst endings I've ever seen in a game.

for games on 360.....it has to be assasins creed for me, spoiled the whole involved in thecrusade feeling you got when playing it andturned it into a bit of a joke to be honest
Tomb Raider Legend.BTW I'm surprised with people saying Assassin's Creed had bad ending,I think it's great,it leaves the player with figuring out all the stuff by yourself(almost all) and leaves the door open for the sequel,closing the story of the first game, if you don't understand it search the net for some sites explaining it.
