Resident Evil 5 is the game that is going to change gaming forever. Look how good was RE4 on GC and just imagine what the next gen systems will do. I just can't wait for it.
And why does everyone assume GoW2 is coming out in 08? Its been barely over a year since the first one came out. The first one probably took 3 times as long as that to make. GoW2 will probably be late 09 at the least, gotta think realistically not on hopes and dreams.

Actually Resistance: Fall Of Man came out around the same time as GoW and Resistance 2 is slated for Late '08 so it's possible.
true...but i think GOW2 will take longer to complete...lol, hopefully...number ones single player was very short
yeah, but its not like they need to build it from the ground up. they just need to dress it differently, build a few new levels, and tape a "2" on the box.
For the early part of 2008 I suspect Lost Odyssey and GTA IV will be owning my life with Home there to tool around with...or at least my summer. In the summer, maybe a little NCAA and Madden action to tide me over before the best fall in Recent memory (better than '07 IMO) of...and get this:
not sure if these count as taking over my life but i'm really looking forward to what Far Cry 2 is supposed to deliver on. also i would like to see the next Brothers in Arms sometime this year...haven't heard anything about it other then it's been pushed back to like fall/winter 08 or some such nonsense.
and yes..GTA 4 will be in my console for some time i'm sure.
well if gow2 comes out in 08 then that will be the game. until then i think devil may cry4. the other games were pretty awesome and i only got to beat them once cause i was borrowing them from a friend.

Not necessarily true. Look at GTA IV with the slated April release and they have yet to release one gameplay footage. There's a slight possibility that GOW2 may come out December 2008. 1. You dont know how long they have been working on the game, the devs only let you know, what they want you to know, duh. 2. If they needed more time and had to push it to 2009, to make a better game, so be it. I would wait. We've waited this long already, right? There's like 20+ great titles coming out this year. Let's not lose ourselves over a release date.
Well lets look at the facts Gears of War was released in what November 06 give or take a month? So its been roughly 14 months since it was released and I would imagine the game was finished weeks before. That game probably took Epic 2 or 3 years to make. In addition in the time since its release Epic has been working on Unreal Tournament 3 and its console versions. Epic to my knowledge is not a giant studio filled with hundreds of people with people to simulataneously be working on both Gears 2 and UT3 while other people are tweaking the console ports. Come one now the Xbox 360 version of UT3 isn't even out yet after all that and you think they are gotta pump out a new Gears when they know if this game is not bigger and better in every category fans will be disappointed.
