Pokemon games and Dragon Ball-Z games..I don't get why people like those games.gamer082009
pokemon...but :o
Need for speed pro street and so on. They'v all been awful, need for speed was the only decent street racing game out there and know it's been ruined by going to tracks. Stupid ea

Agreed the reason I played need for speed was because it was crazy street racing about pimping your vehicles, they were great fun
I used to think MGS2 wasn't that great either when I first played it when it came out (mostly because you weren't playing Snake) but over the years of replaying it since I have learned to really enjoy it especially because it is a vital piece to the MGS story. It really truely is a great game. MGS3 is also my all time favorite.I disagree with those guys that said metal gear. Mgs2 was horrible yeah, but mgs3 is my all time favorite game.

I felt like the second resident evil was crap. The third was kind of meh, and I downright hated the fourth. Haven't played the fifth yet.jbarry89Resident Evil 2 was amazing and it was my all time favorite game for the PS. If anything Resident Evil 3 was crap. I don't get why everyone loved it so much at all. I didn't find it good at all, challenging maybe, but not good. I felt like I was playing a Carbon Copy of Resident Evil 2. The fourth was a good game but it wasn't Resident Evil and the 5th was garbage.
Oblivion of course they took far too much stuff out to even be considered a decent sequel. I wont even go into detail on the countless things that I disliked about the game.
I can think of quite a few sequels that sucked and I wish hadn't been made, but there was at least some potential there from the start (Mercenaries 2, FEAR 2). I can also think of decent, but rather lackluster sequels (GTA4, MUA 2).But as far as games where a sequel just shouldn't have been made, I absolutely agree with BioShock. Just about everything was perfect about the first one, from the story and the atmosphere to the gameplay. The second one really was not necessary and had a weak story. Not to mention, the awe that camewhen going through the first one was gone before getting through the first level in BioShock 2.I think the first one was resolved perfectly already.
Even though it's supposed to be a prequel I couldn't stand Perfect Dark Zero. I played the first level of that game after which I quit and never played it again. I also agree with other people about Bioshock 2 as well. I haven't played the second one but the first was a complete experience (gameplay & story wise) and really didn't need a sequel.
Upcoming sequels that I don't think should be made are;
Kane & Lynch 2 (First was horrible, this one looks just as bad),
Two Worlds II (First one was absolutely horrendous),
F.E.A.R. 3 (Played some of the first one for the 360 & I couldn't stand the controls, same with the demo for Project Origin),
Star Wars The Force Unleashed II (How exactly is this game getting a sequel seeing as what happened to the apprentice in the first one? I believe I read he's getting cloned or something which seems like a lame & cheap way for the writers of the story to bring him back),
Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood (I mean seriously WTH is this? I spy with my little eye a cheap cash grab),
Any more Call of Duties (Seriously, Activision is running this franchise into the ground just like with Guitar Hero. I mean how many Call of Duties are currently in development?)
and any more Guitar Heroes, Rock Bands, and DJ Heroes (Seriously the music genre for videogames is dead).
I'm sure there's others that I'm not thinking of at the moment...
Any Guitar Hero or Rock Band sequels. And Resident Evil 5, it did not bring anything new to the table that 4 already did and the co-op just seemed boring.
Well, it's going back a while but I think the world would not have been a poorer place had Dino Crisis 3 never seen the light of day. The first was excellent, the second was so-so, but dinosaurs in space? Nope, nope and nope again.
Sometimes I think I'm one of about maybe a dozen people in the world who really liked Far Cry 2. Perhaps we should start a newsletter :)
I'm not really sure how I feel about the Ninety-Night Nights sequel, but maybe once it comes out it will be as good as the first one.
I agree with you on Bioshock 2... I think that the second game tarnished the near-perfection of the first game. Bioshock should have been left as a stand-alone classic. I have to disagree with your GRAW2 assertion, though - it was immeasurably better than the first game in the multiplayer suite.Fable II, Bioshock 2, Farcry 2, and GRAW 2. All were far from the first games.

Fable 2. While I think a second Fable should have been made at some time, Fable 2 was so crappyhillelslovak
Wtf fable 2 is one of the best rpgs this gen! It beats the crap out of similair games like demons souls and is way better than the first.

you need your head examined...(there is a lot of evidence on the internet to rockstar paying off reviews) and a lot of evidence to gamespot accepting it (reason jeff got fired)That was Kane & Lynch: Dead Men. GameSpot agreed to give it a good review, but Jeff didn't.XileLord
Tomb Raider i think everyone will agree with me that after the 3rd sequel everything just went on the wrong way.
Not really. 4 is pretty good, 5 is meh, 6 is well, that wasn't very good as compared to others. Legend is great (but doesn't really feel like Tomb Raider as such when comparing to old ones) and Underworld... well, Underworld was alright will have to play that again, I think I played it during a time I wasn't in the mood... oh and Anniversary was pretty awesome! first 1 is still the best of the two though. Tomb Raiders I and II will always be the best. I want a Tomb Raider II remake... but I want it to stay more true to the original TRII and not try to be a new game like Anniversary did. Even just amazing graphics would do me (think of Venice in Gears Of War/Red Dead Redemption graphics... WOW!), and everything else exactly the same...Tomb Raider i think everyone will agree with me that after the 3rd sequel everything just went on the wrong way.
