What game were you playing before your 360 Red Ringed?

So I'm now waiting for my 360 to be shipped back to me from Texas after being repaired and I'm just curious to hear what game you were playing right before your 360 Red Ringed

My first red ring occured about an hour after opening Mass effect on release day

My Second red ring happened last week wright after picking up Fabel 2 at CC for 60% off

Cod2 russian campaign (This was right after CoD3 came out)

for my second time i was playing fallout 3 but i haven't had a problem for awhile now.

I was playing Skate 2 trying to get the last few retail acheivements. Now i'm at the "repair in progress" part of the whole Texas thing. How long does it take them to actually repair it after they have received the console?Dawq902

well when it happened to me i wasnt playing a game. i was playing thp8 and my mom turned it off cuz i wasnt playing it. i got pissed cuz my xbox (original xbox) messed up on me cuz i always left my games in it when it wasnt on so im always wary of it. anyways the next day i turned it on and got 3 or 4 rings of death. my dad sent it in to get fixed though, never had a problem since except a few freezes here and there. although i got all 4 rings a number of months ago but it turned out that cable you plug into the tv was disconnected from my 360 lol. seriously though, never leave games or dvd's in your 360 when its not being used it'll mess it up ;) . it shouldnt be a prolem if your just restarting it real quick if the game has frozen or something.

o wait, i think it happened once after that, it was from a patch/update burnt cd my friend let me borrow so you can play old xbox games.

I sent my xbox to be repaired on 2/20 and I'm scheduled to recieve it on 3/3. So it should usually take around 2-3 weeks

I've never experienced the RROD and I've had mine for about a year now.

I use a USB mini fan, which is for a laptop and have that setup behind it. Whenever I play the Xbox, I plug that sucker in.

I also wipe it down and always keep it covered with a wash cloth after I'm done playing it.

I tend to try to take care of my things and since I've heard about the RROD, I take super care of my Xbox 360.
