What games have you bought that got bad reviews but you ended up liking

on the 360 btw i bought ninety nine nights for like 15 dollars and it was really fun i looked on gamespot just to see what the review was i looked at it and i was like what it deserved at least a 7 and in my book its a solid 8 anyways what about you guys

none. in fact, sorta the reverse.

i bought AC because of its good review (HUGE MISTAKE) and its my least favorite game i own. waste of $60.

nba 2k8 i thought it deserved a 9 but thats just me lol

Kane & Lynchshaunchgo

I loved Kane and Lynch. Hoesntly the complaints about that game were foolish. Anyway not here to give a speach to the President. Kane and Lynch and Bully:SE(Not really sure what it got, somewhere in the 7's i know though, but it should have gotten atleast a 11.5)

i have had alot of games that have been rated from 2-7 and many 9 and 2 10s, and 8s, some of which deserved better and some deserved lower scores, any wii game listed below

tv show kings- just got it today wii ware, gs gave it a 7

driver paralel lines again also have the xbox and ps2 versions and theyve all been mediocre rated , lol , , found that they are fun ,

ts fp gamecube version, i found it odd they rated timesplitters fp on gc lower then xbox and ps2 versions, because of online not included, which makes no sense,

as the ps2 version is now online less so ya

ive had a fair share of games rated mostly fair - great some perfect ,

and some poor bad medicre and i liked em all except alien syndrome ,, my only regret out of 836 games ,

Lost Odyssey. 7.5 is a really, really, really big understatement.bulletsword

That game was terrible. I hated the puzzles, the story, (especially when the mom kept bringing the kids to life or the whole party got a miraculous recovery) (btw, that happened multiple times)

Blue Dragon, Lost odyssey, and Enchanted Arms. i'm a jrpg nut. pdz was my fav game til gears came out, but it got average reviews for the most part.

as for games i bought into the hype on but hated, halo 3, gta4, ac, me, and thats all i can think of.

Burnout Paradise should get a revised score of 10 after all of these free updates and DLC. Shouldn't deserve the 8.5 after all of that. Right now, I would give it at least a 9.chcknbopper

Quake 4, Monster Madness and Earth Defense Force 2017

I actually really liked Monster Madness and with the updates it deserves a better score than a 5.5 or whatever it got on Gamespot.

A lot of people putting down games that have scored 7, thats not a bad game.

Alone in the Dark, Blue dragon and Viking are games that got bad reviews but I liked them, ex-specially Blue Dragon.

id have to say FarCry Instincts Predator. It got a 7.9 on gamespot and i still play it because the value that you get from it. 2 single player campaigns, multiplayer with alot of maps to play on, and a map maker.
