what happens after level 10 prestige mode in CoD4?

i'm only entering level 2, but i know i've seen symbols of players on level 10. i was just curious what happens after level 55 of prestige mode 10.

anyone know?

Haha - that was an awesome episode. I can actually see that happening too... I mean, gaining (55x10+55=) 605 ranks is insanely time consuming.

But yeah, I haven't done prestige mode once. I'm just level 55, getting all the challenges done. I don't see the point of whiping out everything I've been working towards just to get a new icon or an ugly gold plated gun. The higher the icon, the less of a life the person has.

The less of a life the person has...? A guy I go fishing with all the time is in the 9th prestige and he has a wife and 3 kids and he is a batalion chief in our cities fire department... I think you are just mad about your own short comings of life and friends...

Yep!!!I feel the excact same way. I at level 54 and I'll be happy just to get to 55 and have access to all my wepeons.

When you reach the final level of 55 that little black sensor opens up and fills your room with insecticide.

I actually one time had a clan of like 5 3 or 4 gold cros guys making fun of me and calling me a wimp for not going through prestige mode. I told them that Prestige mode is made to seperate the people with lives from the people with no lives and then they started making little girl voices and saying that that was what I sounded like.

So basically the did nothing but prove my point.

Im now in my first prestige mode lvl 53. and I have a live. I dont like that brown icon though so I might do prestige mode again.

for me, prestige mode is replay value. It gives you something to work for in multiplayer.

Yeah, I have found out now that nothing happens. You are just level 55 10th prestige. Basically you have just set yourself up to be the target of all verbal abuse if you do not come top in every game you play (you guys know how people can be on Live).
