You probably didnt like it because you're not used to the gameplay system, you thought it was like God of War or DMC, but its more like Diablo, no need to post your ignnorant opinion as a fact.
K1LLR3175 did not post his opinion as fact, and who are you to say his opinion is any more ignorant than your own? If he does not like the demo, then that is fine. The game will not appeal to everyone.
I have not played very many games on the 360, but I really did not like Gears of War. I know there are worse games, like Army of Two and Hour of Victory, but I'm not about to waste my time on games that I can tell I won't like just from the previews. So considering that I am very selective about what I play, Gears of Wars has been the worst. Oh, and the Lost Planet demo was horrible. I expected more out of that one.
You also posted your opinion as a fact saying that Lost Planet is horrible, and seeing as how it got 8.5 in any review, its ignnorant too.
Now, what you said about GOW, it was an opinion, its really different if you say "This game sucks big time!!" to saying "I thought this game was horrible"

Well, there is no standard or metric for measuring "horrible", so it can not be stated as fact. But if you use your own logic, your own statements of whose opinion is ignorant are also opinions stated as fact. Oh, and learn how to spell ignorant. You've misspelled it twice already.
And the Lost Planet demo did not get 8.5 reviews. The full game did, which is why I expected more from the demo. The fact that I disagree with such reviews based solely on a small portion of the game does not make me or my opinion ignorant.

If you would like an example of stating opinion as fact, look at your own statement: "you thought it was like God of War or DMC"
You have no idea what K1LLR thought. You THINK he/she MAY have not liked the demo because of preconceived ideas about the gameplay system. But don't be so presumptuous as to think that you know why someone else likes or dislikes games, and especially don't think so highly of your telepathic abilities as to call their opinion ignorant because you have preconceived ideas of what they might have thought about the game.
The Darkness. Never been so dissapointed in my whole life :(kunggustafBINGO! I can believe I threw 60 bucks down on this.
mine was Gears Of War it was boring and theres just need for that much blood and gore pretty good story behind it tho.

I was actually fine with the blood and gore of GOW. But I did not like the cover system, the portion of the story that I played through (or that I've come to know through reviews and friends), or the dialogue. Oddly enough, I really liked the cover system in RSV, and I see a lot of similarities between the cover system in these two games, but RSV just felt a lot smoother... I think because I did not have to watch some insanely bulky guy slam his back up against a wall every time I wanted to take cover, nor did I have to press the cover button again while using the thumbstick to determine how I would leave my cover. Also, by making everyone in the game so bulky and able to take so many hits, the game felt a bit slow most of the time. I'll admit that I only made it through act 1, so I'm sure it gets better, but I was playing on hardcore and never felt any real urgency to the game. And to top it off, with the exception of the first time I used the hammer of dawn, I really didn't find any of the weapons to be fun to use. I especially hated the chainsaw bayonet. That just added to the feeling that the developers were setting out to make this game the "badest of the bad" using very generic stereotypes with very little originality (like Eric Nylund writing the Halo novels).

Gears of War is one of the greatest games on the 360. The blood and gore isn't even that bad, and the cover system in RSV and GOW is practically identical. Although, seeing how you only played through Act 1, you didn't see the entire story unfold. The game does indeed get much better and the story is very good. Take your time and play through the rest on a lower difficulty setting.
Conflict Denied Ops with Soldier Of Fortune Payback a close 2nd.shawn7324
I loathed Soldier of Fortune: Payback. I don't even want to go near Conflict Denied Ops if its actually worse - still can't comprehend that possibility, lol.

Yeah, I know I missed the vast majority of the story by quitting after act 1, but changing to a lower difficulty will not do anything to change my feelings on the dialogue, the controls, or the story. And regardless of how the story unfolds, I will probably never find any of the characters to be likable. So I'm content to say that GOW is just not a game that appeals to me.
