ultima sword from FF7 or Ultima from FF6.sharpshooter188

In FF7, Cloud's ultimate weapon is called Ultima Weapon, not Ultima Sword.

umbra. sentimental really. oblivion seemed impossible and very intimidating before i got her. felt like a god when weilding it. and WAY powerful. loaded shivering isles, but since moved on to other games. that dawn/duskfang looks awesome and may just encourage me to pull the game back out.

The Shishkebab is at once "cool" and strong (especially with lots of skill points in Melee Weapons -- as well as, perhaps, the Pyromaniac perk, which increases the damage of flame weapons). The Shishkebab provides a convenient method of setting any enemy, organic or not, on fire -- without requiring the use of flamer fuel. Also, kudos to whoever it was that mentioned the Dragon's Tooth from the Deus Ex games (the sword is very, very useful in both games). I can think of so many excellent video-game swords; it's hard for me to pick just one. I also loved the Chrysamere from Morrowind (but most of my "favorite swords" were the ones that I enchanted myself).

Breaker from Fallout 3. There is no more powerful sword. (If you recognize the weapon from just the name, shame on you!)

It's a tie between Red Queen, which is Nero's sword in Devil May Cry 4 (love the Exceed system), or Ivy's whip/sword from SoulCalibur. I think both weapons are really creative and innovative.
