well the xbox 360 has been out for 2 years now, I have had mine since launch and have loved every minute spent with it. And I just wanted to know what it was that made you buy a 360, be it a game a feature or whatever. For me it was Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter(it was supposed to be a launch title) since I was such a Ghost Recon fan, and xbox live.
Gears of War. Got mine on launch too. November 22, 2005. I watched those Gears vids over and over here at Gamestop and at IGN. It just blew me away. I had to get the 360. The game came out a year later, but that's why I bought my 360.
All the new features of xbox live. I was having so much fun with PGR2, Rallisport2 andSplinter Cell, along with othersonline, i couldnt wait to see what MS was going to do with Live on the "new" system.
Oddly enough, boredom. I always viewed the Xbox as a system where all the good games eventually came out on PC. Last spring there was a big drought of good PC games. I was walking through Best Buy one day and figured I would give it a try and bought it with Gears of War. It is one of the best consoles I have ever owned and I have owned almost all of them.
It has many amazing games, and Xbox Live! is flawless! I was blown away by how smooth everything worked. Liked the fact it was a media center, a super powerful gaming console (way better than my pc at the time), affordable, and backed by the monster Microsoft. Does anybody see a downfall?
Every system always seems to have a few good games that tempt me into picking it up, but Xbox Live was the deciding factor on this one. And thank God it came along, it just might have been the only thing that broke my WoW habit :?
something next gen. i found ps3 had the same games for 360, i only bought early games for the gamecube found nothing good about the others, so i didn't think about getting wii but it is fun (my friend has it). so i picked 360
Well now thinking about it its kinda pointless, but at the time...hearing GTA IV was coming out on 360 at the same time as the PS3. The 360 was the cheapest way could play it. At the time PS3 was too much and so would have been upgrading my computer to play GTA IV.
But im happy, Forza 2, Gears of War, and Mass Effect and not tomention all those arcade games i got its has been well worth it...I dont even think twice about it.
