Are there any other games that are out that you think I should get? I was mainly thinking about Dragon Age:Origins and maybe the first mass effect before 2 comes out.

You absolutely have to get the first one. Bioshock is one of, if not the best game in it's genre. In the realm of FPS it is unique. You have to buy this game.
