mgs4 definitely and if 360 were to steal it (as is being rumored more and more nowadays) i dont think PS3 would die out which is too bad cuz i think blu-ray format would die as well. and Blu-ray is a better format of hi-def dvd IMO.
ps3 actually has to have good exclusive games for me to want before i can answer this question. virtua fighter will be coming out soon, i guarantee ff13 will be released on both systems, and im betting theres a 75% chance that mgs 4 will be released on both systems. so with all of that theres nothing left for me to want. ps3 can keep lair, cause that game sucks. i played ninja gaiden 4 years ago. resistence is nothing impressive from what ive seen. so to answer the question. theres nothing i want from ps3. not even blu-ray. i love my hd-dvd player. matrix in hd is beautiful.

Nope, Insomniac is a independent dev, as is Naught Dog and many other companies who choose to work with sony. As for tekken, no word on that yet. However Killzone could be interesting, its features some radical technical changes over 99.9% of games so if its not good, it will at least be a technical marvel. Its using defered rendering, which is totaly insane. Surprised no-one mentioned SOCOM given its the biggest PS online game.
Really not looking to argue about this, but R&C is a property developed by Insomniac Games and published by Sony Computer Entertainment of America. Since SCEA is the publisher, it is indeed a first party title and thus an exclusive.
If I'm not mistaken, Insomniac Games and Naughty Dog fall under what is termed as second party developers. This is the type of relationship Silicon Knights and Factor 5 used to have with Nintendo (and Retro Studios has currently). They are not owned by Sony, but have a publishing deal with them.
Long story short, my beloved R&C cannot be released on a system other than a Sony platform. :(

I Agree, you see dozens of threads in the 360 forums wanting PS3 games, and yet you rarely see that on the PS3 forums if ever.
Not to start a flamewar here, but maybe its because 360 owners are made up of gamers that were multiplatform console owners last gen orPlaystation ownersand more PS3 owners are Playstation 'loyalist'. Just a possibility ...
MGS4, if not I'll just have to wait a loooonnggg time to get a PS3 for nothing. Next next gen anyone? By that time I'll probably have a family and no time for games anymore:lol:
I cannot justify spending £425 for a PS3 right now since I'm happy with my 360 and to be honest I sometimes wonder how people have the time to own and play all 3 consoles.
