What should I get at Bestbuy? Halo 4 or Microsoft Surface?

Last month I traded in a lot of ds games at Bestbuy and got $200 of in store credit. So my choices are either getting some more games which is Halo 4, Borderlands 2 and finally a year of xbox live because I've been silver for almost a year now. Or save it for when the Microsoft Surface releases which I can use for college and games (my laptop broke). I don't really know where to ask but seing as they're both Microsoft products I came here for the advice. I'm not so sure about the Surface because there will be a Pro version coming out in January.

Borderlands 2 is a must buy, but I'd still get Surface. I was dead set on getting the pro version and still will, but after seeing the RT version a little more I'm thinking it might not be bad either. I guess it just comes down to what you want a tablet for in the first place. If you want a complimant to gaming, email and web then the RT still looks good.
