What should i get. Lost Planet, The Darkness or Overlord

i would get The Darkness, Lost Planet gets really old quick and Overlord just really isnt that great of a game.

Okay well i have the choice between 3 games to get: Lost Planet, The Darkness or Overlord, i am trying to decide which one is better, so yeah what are your opinions on them and which do you think is better343TheFlood

For me, I would say Overlord looks like the most promising.

I say Lost Planet. It has a pretty short and lame campaign, but online multiplayer is pretty fun. Also a bunch of new maps just came out, so that is pretty cool.

The Darkness is supposedly a pretty good game, but I heard that the multiplayer is pretty bad...I don't really like the story that much. I would not buy it.

Overlord is alright I guess. I don't know if you have a Gamecube or if you have ever played Pikmin, bit it isbasically just seems like a updated version of that game with a different setting and a few new twists.

I don't own Lost Planet or Overlord, but I can say that The Darkness is amazing. On of my favorite games in a long, long time. Superb from top to bottom.nyc05

i second that. and I have alot of games.

The Darkness if you want a first person shooter/horror game.

Overlord if you want an action adventure game in a fantasy setting.

Lost Planet if you want a third person shooter with amazing visuals, tight gameplay, and tough boss battles.

All 3 are great games.

In order of best to least good (none of them are bad), I'd say:

1. Lost Planet

2. Overlord

3. The Darkness

Lost Planet is probably the most complete game out of the three. I just picked it up and im having fun with it

Okay i am stuck between the darkness and overlord... might flip a coin, but i already have a lot of first person shooter in my libary (F.E.A.R., Shadowrun, PDZ, Oblivion) so i am a little hesitant on buying another fps... so yeah tough decision 343TheFlood

The Darkness is unlike any other FPS.

the darkness is so sick!

think like this, Darkness multiplayer is Time Spliters speed and when u get killed u press one button to get back into the fight.. NO WAITING! plus if u dont wanna shoot (like me) turn into a little creeper as i call em and crawl on the ceiling to ur unsuspecting opponent and claw em right across the face!!

plus the story is so sick, u learn to hate sertain people.. a lot!

overlord was fun for a bit but the camera can get a little annoying not having complete control over it. plus The Darkness DOES have amazing graphics.

Lost Planet, i dunno.. never played it, it didnt look all that great

I had Lost Planet and it was kinda broing since all u do is run around and shoot bugsinsane_metalist

Blockbuster said they get their new games on Fridays, so I'mma head over tomorrow morning and afternoon to see what they have. Ideally I'd like to come home with Transformers and Darkness, because I want to play both and buy neither ;)

Yeah, to be honest, The Darkness is more worth a rent than a buy. The single player is 8-10 hours, and while it's great, you probably wouldn't play it again for another year or two, so you'll just be able to pick it up on the cheap then. The multiplayer isn't even worth playing. It's just run of the mill multiplayer that adds a gimmick in, and the end result isn't anything special. It feels like a tacked-on feature.

Me to, Lost Planet is still my fav 360 game. I am so addicted to the online for it. I havent tried overlord but I did play the demo and it just doesnt seem like a game for me. I am getting the darkness this weekend because that game is definitely interesting to me.

Yeah, I played Overlord for a little bit, and I picked up DiRT this week also, but The Darkness is more of my type of game. I'll get a little deeper into Overlord when I finish up The Darkness.

Yeah ill probably finish The Darkness tomorrow or over the weekend... btw I just got the Blue Minions in Overlord and I got The BIGS because I love baseball and I love the game so much lol! So next game I am getting is probably Tenchu Z(maybe), but for sure I am getting All-Pro Football and NCAA Football in July because I am playing High School Football and I LOVE FOOTBALL!!! lolcallofdutyzzz

Definitely try out Tenchu Z. The game is pretty bad, but the flaws are what makes the game so fun. I purchased it, and I don't regret it. The missions get very repetitive halfway through though.

I love football, but I never really buy too many sports games.

Go with The Darkness. Lost Planet gets too repetitive after a while. I have never played Overlord, but I've heard mixed reactions. The Darkness is awesome.

Lost Planet is a horrible, pathetic game ever attempted to make using western faces, stupid small character to control etc.
The Darkness, I haven't played it nor the Demo but I heard it's really good but I won't be getting it.
Overlord, O.K rating but I'm getting it anyways because I like RPG games and the Demo did suprise me, nice gameplay.Alpha172

I'm pretty sure that Wayne is standard human size, and not bite-size. Also, your comments lose. It's one thing to criticize a game... but to do it stupidly is.... stupid.
