What should i get. Lost Planet, The Darkness or Overlord

okay then well i think i am just gonna flip a coin, heads the darkness, tails overlord. I played the demo of Overlord and though it was great... but there's no demo out for the Darkness yet and there doesent look lie there is going to be one so um yeah...343TheFlood

ppl on this site tend to go crazy over new games. then a month later when a newer game comes out they say its trash..

I only own lost planet and the darkness.

You should definatly buy the darkness, lost planet was really dissapointing. However the darkness is one of the best shooters i've ever played. It'has a good story and lot's of action. And nice darkness moves:D

yep i agree that's why i am waiting just a little bit longer to see what everyone says on these games, that way i get more then just the first impression opinion

So true! People just like to feel that their new game was a $60 well spent. Sad....

Okay i am stuck between the darkness and overlord... might flip a coin, but i already have a lot of first person shooter in my libary (F.E.A.R., Shadowrun, PDZ, Oblivion) so i am a little hesitant on buying another fps... so yeah tough decision 343TheFlood

Yup first person swordsman....come onman....get with it.

After playing The Darkness for a bit, I can honestly say that it isn't worth a purchase (for me). The gameplay isn't great, but at least it nails the atmosphere and tells a good story. Im' glad I rented it. Staryoshi87

What's wrong with the gameplay? The only complaint I had is Jackie doesn't walk fast enough.

He's slow, the game handles like a buick at times, enemies aren't accurately damaged... (They can recover to 100% after a shot in the chest region (sometimes higher)), shooting lights gets a bit tiresome... but they did nail the atmosphere, like I said :) I like it, but I'm not gushing over it. Worth my rental. (There's a 0% chance I'd play through it again)Staryoshi87

The ending is amazing, and made me shed a tear....

well i decided to get Overlord since i wanted a gme that had a decent single player and a decent multiplayer343TheFlood

The Darkness has that and then some...... then a little bit more.

The Darkness: 8.5

Overlord: 7.5

Not that the score is all that matters, but both the reviews are worth a read. I dont think you would of been disapointed with The Darkness.

WEll iwould say Lost Planet however that is the only one of those that i have played. I have heard great things about the Darkness though.

Lost PLAent Also has the best multiplayer of all of those games if you are into that stuff.
