What the Hell??? Where are the Reviews!

I really don't care about all the drama that goes on with things like Jeff and all this...I don't, its none of my business and thats just the way things work sometimes.......but what I do care about is reviews....

Where is the MX vs. ATV Untamed review? I know its not a HUGE blockbuster title but it is somewhat of a popular title and imho, if it is popular enough to have TV Commercials playing for it every five minutes, as well as multiple ads on gamespot itself....then it shouldn't take over two weeks for a review....This game came out December 17th!!!! That is just ridiculous

MX came out December 17th...and so what? Its a business....do stores stop bringing in shipments for two weeks? No....there closed christmas day and new years and thats it....some stores aren't even closed........my wife works at Blockbuster, do they stop renting out movies because its "christmas and new years" no....in fact, they are open their regular hours...INCLUDING CHRISTMAS DAY AND NEW YEARS.........to say that they can't release a review for a game that came out two weeks ago because of christmas and new years is just ludicrous

most people only take two days off and can't most their work be done at home there is no excuse for gamespot not having that review

ok ok jeeze so maybe its not cuz of the holidays. maybe its just gamespot.

and besides i can sum up that game in about one sentence.

'if you liked the other atv games, mooore than likely, this game is going to be kinda fun'

Yeah... I hate it when reviewers are swamped by one of the busiest video game release seasons in history, especially when it's getting towards the end of the year when everybody is worrying about Christmas and spending time with their families. They're so selfish for not burning themselves out by playing video games 24/7.

Why can't they just play a couple of hours of each game and get a review out straight away? Oh yeah, because then you'd whine and complain about that too!

You will not find a single online review site that gets every single game reviewed on time, they all have priorities. Why don't you loosen your purse strings and rent the damn game you're interested in and make up your own mind instead of being a slave to other people's opinions?

It's their job! If they can't complete it, then they need to look for a new one. I would love to review games for a living, instead I chose accounting.

Also, I don't read reviews to base my purchases off of, I read them to get someone elses perspective. If a game looks interesting, I'll buy it. Regardless of what a paid reviewer says.

I think GS gas deals with publishers to NOT review games for x amount of time to avoid unfavorable reviews hurting first week sales.farrell2k
