Well if you are getting ME 3 then you are sorted for a while so get MP3.

Really really fun and stylish.

Get The Witcher 2, lot's of content in it...Max Payne 3 may be longer than your average TPS/Action game but still it's not worth the full price imo

This is not fair at all IMO. Both are great games and both are very diffrent. Max Payne if you want some good actions with an amazing gameplay. The WItcher 2 if you want a great storyline, and charming charachters. Again the two games are very good and can't make a choice.

Max Payne 3 has a pretty good singleplayer (although a bit overrated), but the multiplayer went to crap for me. I thought it was awesome at first, but then the glitches, lag, and certain unlocks at high levels sort of ruined it for me. That being said, it has some interesting concepts in its multiplayer, with bullet time being used and Gang Wars being a mode unlike any other I've played before. I'd say rent that game instead of spending $60 on it. Or at least wait for it to drop down in price.

I can't comment on The Witcher 2, but I only hear good things about it.

I am voting against Witcher II. That's a rent in my opinion. I played through it and some aspects of it were disappointing in my opinion. It is a lot more linear than you might be expecting. And there isn't much replay factor for it after you beat it.

Max Payne 3 is an overly-scripted, on rails, cutscene shooter with a CoD-esque multiplayer.

You're better off with the Witcher 2. Although I don't know how the 360 version fares, but it's got a lot more, and better, content than MP3.

It has way more replay value than Max Payne 3.. The Witcher 2 you can play it from two different sides.. I enjoyed The Witcher 2 more, but neither one would I warrant a purchase... Both have good single player, with Witcher 2 being better, but Max Payne has mediocre or less multiplayer with it..

Max Payne has multiplayer though.

Max Payne 3 for sure. It has great gameplay, a great story with witty dialogue, it's lengthy for a tps, and is overall great. The Witcher 2 on the other is alright, I found it really hard to get into the story, but the gameplay was intresting enough to keep me playing.

Witcher 2 is anywhere between 20-35+ hours storywise. Max payne 3 is 10-15 hours storywise.

Max Payne 3 by a long shot. TW2 has a decent story but the game itself is quite awful.

Other point, the Witcher 2 is worth te replay for many times. Max Payne 3 not. This is a very personal point of view of course. I like them both.

Witcher 2 is worth at least two playthroughs so you can see what happens depending on whether you go with the Iorveth or Roche.

I'd say Witcher 2, if only because it has more replay value than Max Payne 3.

I was really impressed by the quality of storytelling in Max Payne 3. However, if you dont like challenges you should maybe avoid it. If playtime is your concern I would definitely go with the Witcher 2. But on the other hand, it is an RPG so in some ways similar to ME3 and Skyrim. So in my opinion both games are outstanding, but if you have an eye on playtime and don't mind some more RPG action maybe you should go the the Witcher 2.
