I play games since the era of Super Mario Bros on NES. During my gaming career, I play a lot of different games, RPG, action adventure, puzzle, text-adventure, third person, MMORPG, and blahblahblah, you name it. But one thing stands up: FPS. I simply don't like playing it because, well, I can't see the player! You see, you play Master Chief or Samus Aran, but you can't see their entire body. I play racing games and I always set the display into third person perspective. It ain't as fun as you can see Marcus Fenix rolling and ducking, shooting bad guys. Or watching Leon blasting a zombie head in one shot. All actions of swinging swords, pulling guns, or chainsawing a Locust are visible easily.
In there you can feel intensity and the environment surrounds you. But strangely I don't get that kind of experience in playing FPS. Anyone with me?
