on the 360 it woulod probably be bioshock, i lolved the story but the ending was kind of crap, i mean i chose the bad way to go (apparently, cause i thought the little kids were evil) but i mean just releasing the things on the world is kinda stupid.
-greatest ending ever though is the original half life. to me that was amazing, and it really left you waiting, yet sattisfied, perfect.
Splinter Cell double agent on the original xbox, sam betrays the NSA after his boss (A.D. williams) orders another splinter cell to kill his girlfriend who is a suspected terrorist, so sam kills the other splinter cell. (the 360 version cut out alot of the story so double agent on the 360 didnt really make much sense.)
I can't really pick just the ending of a story.
So i'm going to say Kingdom Hearts(1&2), Bioshock, and Mass Effect stories as a whole.
Especially the part in Mass Effect when
You found out that Sovereign was the real enemy and that the reapers built the Mass Relays and the Citadel
The Ending of the Revenge Team in King of Fighters '95. Watching my favorite character Billy Kane get beating to a bloody pulp by the jerk Iori was a shocker of an ending.
The Ending of the Boss Team in King of Fighters '96. Beating Goenitz was tough as hell but the ending was well worth it, best ending in the KOF series.
The Ending music(forget it, the entire soundtrack) of Sonic The Hedgehog 2 was EPIC. It brings tears to my eyes each time i turn this game on XBLA just to beat Mecha-Robotnik and see Sonic flying down in the sky to get caught by Tails OR flying solo, with Tails not too far behind, as Super Sonic.
The ending of Metal Gear Solid 3 is the SECOND game to make me cry. I swear that was one of the most touching moments in gaming to me.
The ending of Star Fox 64 is the FIRST game to make me cry. One Word is all I need to hear and tears begin to seep from my eyes: "Father?". Each time I play that game I try to boost faster and faster just to hope there is some SPECIAL unlockable ending where the McClouds are reunited... sadly there isn't but yet I still try.
None. Every game ending means I'm finished with it and that even if I play it again it won't be an all new experience, so I get very sad face. :(bakalhau90
even the ending for tetris?

Yes. Specially Tetris. It means I need to start all over again if I want to break my personal record, or that I've just set it and wasn't able to get a higher score, which is something I always want even if I'm already beating my previous one.
All endings are depressing. The most memorable part is where I first move the character around.
Halo: Combat Evolved, I loved the Warthog escape:)
Also Portal's credits and the great dissapoinment that was Halo 2's ending (and then the greater dissapointment that is Halo 3)
