Whats the most scared/nervous/on the edge of your seat moment in a game ever?

For me it would either be the first time i played bioshock. At the beggining of the story when the splicer jumps onto the vessel thing yo were riding on and begins to destroy it. I was **** my pants.

The other one was in the darkness. This has to be the most intense moment in a game ever. Only time a game has ever made me feel nervous. Its the part where the police chief guy has tied you up and is getting the drill ready to drill holes into you. My heart was pumping the whole wya thru that.

Resident Evil: Remake for gamecube.

That game was so scary I couldn't play it.

Resident Evil on the Gamecube was pretty scary for me. I usually tried to play it at night during a thunderstorm to get the best scare factor.

Condemned has to take the crown though. I can usually only play that game for about an hour before switching to something else. I've that for a couple years now and I still haven't finished it.

My scariest "moment" was probably in Gears of War when you come across your first Berserker. Scared the piss out of me. What was great is that I later played with my buddy and got to hear his reaction during his first encounter with the Berserker too. He was flipping out, lol.

And I think it was in chapter 5 when you first get access to the elevator on the bridge and I heard that scream, I didn't want to leave that elevator, lol.

Bioshock when i was putting together that painting for sander person hunting people down so i could use them as art was the most creepy thing i've ever done

Inside the school in the FEAR 2 demo. When all the lockers fly open and stuff, and that thing keeps following you around.

That game was actually too scary for me to buy.

Gears 1, where you first encounter the Berserker, the fact that you can't kill it, and had to figure out that you need to jump out of its way and get it to run through certain walls was a rush, that combined with its shriek had me screaming like a school girl.

the start of bioshock when you leave the Elevator and you see the Splicer through the elevator and then you have to walk out of the Elevator i wouldnt move fast cause i didnt want to be scared when it jumped out at me

every time you are scoping thrught a sniper and some on pop us right in front of you

I hate running in FPS's and an enemy drops down right in front of you with some sort of loud weapon. That and looking through a scope and someone runs right in front of it.

I find it painful that no one has mentioned Shale bridge cradle from Thief 3? The whole mission is intense... A dark and abandoned asylum, noises and no lighting and ABSOLUTELY NO enemies through the first half then when you reach the second section you see a sillouete of a figure stream past the screen, i nearly called it quits when i saw that...

Condemned 2, when the bear chases you through the house. I'm not sure wether I was laughing or wanted to cry.

RE4, when I first fought the regenerators. I missed the thermal scope so I had to spend the whole entire level running away from them. *sigh* Those were some horrible times. :(

Clive Barker's Undying, I started the game went in the mansion met the maid and then she turned into a FREAKIN MONSTER! for a split second, **** my pants and never played the game again :O .

I wasn't playing it at my house so that's why I never got to play it again :( .

Actually I can only think of one such moment coz normally I don't get freaked out:

It wasin Condemned: Criminal Origins, our guy had to go inside probably some gym/fitnesscentre or maybe it was an asylum I don't remember correctly coz it's been centuries I played that game, and there inside the baths, and we were supposed to use this zooming utility of ours to scan a supposed corpse standing vertical all battered and bruised and bloody, for some circumstantial evidence, and the supposed corpse suddenly opens its eyes as we're zoomin'... Mann that was whacky...!

just beat halo 3 on legendary and am waiting for the secret ending.

Definitely the ladder scene in F.E.A.R. It's the only scene in a game that actually scared me enough that I stopped to take five.

i would have to say DOOM 3 that is one game creaped me out so much i wanted them all dead......followed by all the resident evil games

It would have to be Resident Evil... When walking down the hallway and the dogs jump through the windows. I almost jumped out of my skin...

There were different parts of Bioshock that were pretty creepy, bits and pieces of the first fear

I played Dead Space recently, it wasnt all TOO scary for me because as long you hear music that sounds dangerous, prepare for something. So I was never too scared even playing in the dark. But I did get shocked when im in a vacuum, there are no music, no audio, no enemies, i was getting supplies, and I turn around a necromorph is staring at me. Thatscared the **** outta me... i wasnt prepared...

Condemned when I'm in the house looking for clues and I get swarmed Also when the serial killer is chasing me endlesslyToriko42

I thought it was intense but not really that scary.

I was shocked when I realized how tedious zombie killing could become in Dead Rising.

I dunno, DOOM 3 is still pretty scary to even try and play, but I can see where a lot of Silent Hills, Dead Spaces' and some of those other games could be pretty thrilling.
