What's the "best" game you hate?

But I'd have to go Assassin's Creed. It was just boring. At least Mass Effect had a decent story.

Mass Effect - side missions were a bore and the fighting just wasnt that good.

Assassins Creed - way too repetative for my liking

COD4 Hands down.

It really put me off the whole FPS experience. It was highly praised and over hyped and I agree that it was exceptional to the genre but after halo3 and gears, COD4 was just the proverbial beating of the dead horse.

also I didn't like God Of War even though I had a special reserve and forced myself to beat it because of the story line.

but in the end it was far too monotonous.

I did the same thing with Two Worlds...(sigh) What a loser I am:roll:

my #1 is Halo3

#2 Gears of War

#3 Paradise City, i dont know how that game got 9/10... its so pointless

Same for Halo 3. The original was just perfect IMO, so it is hard to compete with it.

Sorry for the barely understandable title/topic thing,but what is the "best" game you've ever disliked(i.e a game which has recieved universal acclaim,or atleast was awarded a reasonably decent score)?Personally I have to say that I detest Halo 3.

Any and every Final Fantasy.

I love Chrono Trigger to death. I gave each 50 chances. All of them have horrible combat systems, pathetically bad storylines, and characters that actually make me laugh with shame that I love a game made by the same company.

And then there's the one for the PSP. What the hell? A SLOT MACHINE THAT RANDOMLY GOES OFF DURING COMBAT TO SOMETIMES GIVE YOU XP AND SOMETIMES ABILITIES OR OTHER RANDOM CRAP? WHAT WERE THEY THINKING?!

Edit: Oh, and every Tom Clancy game known to man. Why do I keep buying new ones thinking "okay, well that sounds so awesome, and everyone loves it, maybe the last one I hates was just a fluke"? I never learn. Because I'm planning on getting Hawx and End war.
