well i went on XBL first time today it was awesome but my headset wont work. im using the one that came with the premium, i have it plugged into the controller and its switched to the right. but i cant hear anyone and i dont think they can hear me. is it broken? or am i doing soemthing wrong?
Sorry for double post, but if you have a cell phone headset, that'll work. Or if the plug is small enough, you could tape a ear-bud style headphone to your upper lip.....:D
actually you have to go into your parental settings. When an Xbox 360 comes off the assembly line it is automatically programed for you only to talk to people who are on your friends list an such. All you have to do is go into the audio communications section in the settings window and put it to allow all on everything. It should then work for you. If it does not work then the Xbox 360™ Wireless Headset is defective and all you have to do is call up xbox live customer support (1-800-4MYXBOX) and explain the situation and they'll send you a new one for free.
