You just need to be in a room with no bullet lag. Sometimes, the Sniper has bad lag when you want head shots in certain host connection. U actually need the person to stand still or aim ahead of time to headshot. I'm close to mastering that depending on how bad the lag is. I guess I am not so bad with it then. That must be it though because alot of times I shot the guy smack dab in the temple and the bullet didnt even hit him.
My favourite is the Lancer which isn't even in your poll. The chainsaw kill never gets old. The one I use the most is the shotgun because it is the best all around weapon in the game and if your opponents suck you can totally destroy an entire team with it.

how is the chainsaw/lancer a cheap way to get kills and the shotgun not? Becuase it takes no skill. just rush in and chainsaw. when both you and your enemy are face to face shooting each other with the shot gun it's intense and requires some sort of skill to best your opposition. are you serious? You must be a total noob if u cannot stop someone from chainsawing you running straight at you. If they get u from behind why is that a cheap kill? Would u rather them shotgun you to pieces?

Not really. All a shotgun battle encompasses is the two players holding down the right trigger buttion hoping they hit their opponent. Disagreed a bad player will almost always lose to a good player in a shotgun match. You have to know where to aim and how to counter your opponent.
im a gd with that boom shot...i got a couple thousand kills w/ it... i wouldn't be surprised if i had one of the highest numbers of boom kills in the world....i am definately an explosives expert cause of my 8000 plus kills (maybe more) prolly 5000 are boom and nades....the othre is a mix of chainsaw,shotgun, and beatdown

Unless one of the players totally sucks it is basically just that. It also depends whether you are the host or not. It all comes down to luck saying is inconsistent. I sometimes can hit the guy right in the face and he blows to pieces and the next time I do the same exact thing he doesnt blow to pieces. Its inconsistent and takes almost no skill. It just takes whoever has the best conncetion. You can disagree with me though because thats you opinion.
Perfect active reload shotgun for multiplayer. Sometimes, an entire match is determined by whether you or your opponent has the extra damage shotgun shells.

Shotgun is fun, though it comes down to connection a lot of time. Nothing in Gears makes me angrier than shooting a guy in the chest/back with the shotgun 3-4 times and see the blood burst out, yet somehow he turns around and blasts me once with the shotgun and I'm gone. Makes zero sense. Aside from that, a headshot with the Longshot is always satisfying, and if you get your head shot off, you usually know you were standing in the same cover for a second too long. Lancer I don't like very much, I dislike a lot of things about Gears ranked matches, but a one button kill that comes from crouching around cover I don't find that cool. In single player it's a lot of fun, but if I see my teammate get chainsawed the guy with the chainsaw is usually a goner anyway. Boomshot I'm not fantastic with, so I don't use it very much, Hammer of Dawn is an awesome kill but I usually don't grab it.
I like the shotgun best simply cos it shreds your enemies into little pieces:twisted: but longshot is my second choice as its just cool when you shoot someones head of with one. Torque bow is third because I love the sound it makes and pistols whipping is fourth... cos it bugs the crap out of americans:P
