I like Halo 2 the best. It made the multiplayer better, had the dual wielding for the first time, and the story was pretty good. It is hard to go against the first Halo though, because it was such an awesome surprise to play that game before it became such a huge phenomenon
Out of the three Combat Evolved just a ton of fun to play through story and levels are great then it would be Halo 3 which could be first but just a few things that i didnt like as much. I find Halo 2 to be the worst the campaign is alright but the ending pissed me off so much it goes down as the worst in the series.
I thought that Halo: Combat Evolved had the best campaign mode, but I really don't like the multiplayer because when I went back to it, the controls seemed really floaty and unresponsive. Halo 3, IMO, has the best online play mainly because of all the downloadable game types.
I refused to get Halo:CE when I got my xbox in an EB games bundle so I got Brute Force instead. When I finally got Halo:CE, I said to myself... "OH now I see." I'd have to say that game is my favorite because it made me realize that Microsoft isn't terrible at game systems and now the 360 is my favorite system. Thank you Halo :nostalgia:
I'm hoping Halo 3 is good, it will be my first test of the serious. I don't think I would like Halo Wars, but I found Halo 3 for so cheap the other day that I could not leave it, especially since I wanted to try the serious.
