When and why you bought the console(s) you did

- 360 was first, Oblivion sold me

- got the wii next because of Mario Galaxy

- then got PS3 once MGS4 came out

I got my 360 for Halo 3 at first, though I've always just wanted a 360.

For older generation systems though. PS2 was for Ace Combat 4, and further back, N64 for Goldeneye!

I used both the 360 and PS3 extensively before getting one for myself, and had a great opportunity to get a bunch of games when I bought the console.

The PS3 was forever being updated to add features that were either already present in the 360, or were just done better by the 360. Add to that a bigger catalogue of games, BC and I prefer the 360 controller and it was an easy choice.

Oh I got it about a year ago, and I'm very happy I chose the 360

• SNES - Birthday
• N64 - Birthday
• Gamecube - Bought it mainly for Super Mario Sunchine, SSX Tricky, and Pikmin
• Xbox - Bought it mainly for Halo:CE and Star Wars Battlefront
• Xbox 360 - Christmas (I was lucky on this one :P )

i bought the elite when forza came out(love racing games)

i bought my playstation after because i have a sweet hd tv and wanted a blu ray player(i dont actually own any game for the ps3 but i am about to buy some for it kinda collecting dust here)

and i bought another xbox when the price dropped and because of the new falcon chip( the xbox is more quiet and cooler)
