Bought a 360, beautiful HD ready TV and oblivion in august 07... best purchases I ever made, cept oblivion which I did not like at all and promptly bought gears of war :)Dark-Star-One
I bought my elite in june and gears of war and dark sector came with it. I also purchased bad company because thats what my friends were playing at the time.
i bought my original 360 in December 2005 from Gamestation and that broke after a few months and i returned it to gamestation and they replaced it with another one but the 2nd one didn't last very long so i bought my 3rd one from Dixons UK.
Bought my 360 in July 2006 (its currently dead, returning it next week sometime)
the games I got with it were:
Prey (CRAP!!!!) Project Gotham Racing 3 (boring crap) Call of Duty 2 (very good) Dead Or Alive 4 (average) Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion (pretty good, but painful loading times) Kameo: Elements of Power (a little boring) Perfect Dark Zero (GARBAGE) Tomb Raider: Legend (best TR yet)
Feb 2006. I initially bought a Core, but was able to find a Premium a few days later.
I bought Perfect Dark Zero with the system. Pretty graphics, but a really horrible game.
Mine is still going strong after two and a half years. I took it apart and applied Arctic Silver Ceramique to the CPU and GPU. It seemed to run cooler and quieter after that, although I have no objective way to measure.
It was around the month of November 2007. I bought the 20gig Xbox360 along with Gears of War, GRAW 2, Stranglehold, Medal of Honor Airborne, Splinter Cell Double Agent and a bunch of other games... Played the heck out of it for 5 hrs a day...Ah yes, good times, good times...
Got a 60GB Xbox last Saturday, came with Gears of War and Tony hawk project 8. I bought Bully, Burnout Paradise, Orange Box and just recently bought Too Human.
Last weekend, I think Saturday. GTA IV. And I love the game, and I've played a lot of great demos too: The Force Unleashed, Skate, Dead or Alive IV, Soul Calibur IV, NBA Street Homecourt, and Too Human (the only one that sucked completely).
I got my first one about a week after launch with Call of Duty 2 and then I had to sell it. I got a second one in with Guitar Hero II when that came out.
Got mine late July...with GTA4, but within the same week I picked up Halo, Halo 2 (yay for cheap xbox games), Halo 3, Assassin's Creed, and Gears of War.
